Guangmann participated in the 6th Alternative Method Academic Seminar and Training Conference.
On June 20, 2016, the world’s top scientists from the cosmetics industry gathered in Guangzhou for the 6th Alternative Method Academic Symposium. Dr. Cai, the scientific director from L'Oréal China R&D and Innovation Center, awarded crystal trophies and certificates to Guangmann and other companies that actively participate in technology promotion.
The theme of this conference is "In vitro science promotes multidisciplinary and cross-industry development". Guests from China, Europe and Japan alternative verification centers, Chinese and foreign daily chemical companies, and many research and testing institutions were invited to participate. The report is rich in content, and experts and scholars focus on the application of in vitro science in various related industries, the vision of toxicity in the new century, harmful outcome pathways, toxic action modes, integrated evaluation and testing methods of alternative methods, development prospects in various fields, and multidisciplinary cooperation in-depth discussions and exchanges were conducted.

During the period, representatives of the Microbiological Challenge Department under the Guangmann Innovation R&D Center conducted in-depth exchanges and discussions with the participating scientists on toxicity testing, cosmetic safety and efficacy in vitro method application hotspots, current situation and future development trends. In addition, we also participated in the special training organized by the organizer of this conference, which covered in vitro methods and organizational strategies for eye irritation, skin sensitization, and skin irritation, as well as in vitro laboratory construction and AOP alternative methods. Related procedures and methods were also conducted On-site demonstrations and on-site drills. Through this training and exchange, there will be certain help and enlightenment for improving the safety and efficacy of cosmetic raw materials in the future in vitro method application work, and play a certain guiding role for the future development of Guangmann.
